AI Operating System Blueprint

A fixed-price design engagement for an AI operating system built around your business, and we can build it from there

Diagnostic - Stage 1: $5,000 and one week. It ends in a written yes or no on whether your business can carry a custom AI operating system, and what it would cost you to run one. A no stops the engagement there, and you keep the finding.

Blueprint - Stage 2: $7,500 and two weeks, and it runs automatically on a yes, so you commit once instead of twice. You get the target architecture, the agent roles and what each one owns, the governance model that decides what a machine may do unsupervised, and the build sequence in the order it has to happen. That's $12,500 in total if the diagnostic clears you, $5,000 if it doesn't.

Build - Stage 3: We can build it, as a separate engagement quoted against the plan you've already read. Signing for the first two stages doesn't commit you to it, and you're free to take the plan to your own team or any builder you choose. The proof is our own: Lurch, an AI operating system already running five of our businesses.

Workflow Opportunity Analysis

Map one department's workflows, rank where the time actually goes, and get the number before you commit to a fix

We take one department and map how the work really moves through it, then rank every workflow by where the hours are going and what it would be worth to get them back. This is analysis and a plan, nothing else: no implementation, no tools bought, no systems touched. You get the number first and decide what to do about it second.

It ends in two figures:

  • Workflow Opportunity Index (WOI): a single score from 0 to 100, where higher is better, taken against your current state so there's a baseline to measure any fix against later.
  • Projected Recoverable Hours: the hours we estimate you could recover if the recommended changes are adopted, built from your own headcount, hours, and loaded rate, not our averages.

With those you get the ranked list of workflows, what's driving the loss in each one, and the order we'd fix them in.

Three things at kickoff are what make any later before-and-after believable: we capture your current state as a written baseline, you sign that baseline so the starting number is yours and not ours, and we walk one real instance of one workflow end to end, from the request that starts it to the moment it's done.

$5,000, one department, fixed price. More departments is more of the same analysis, not a bigger engagement with a new name, so we price a multi-department scope on the call.

And when you want the plan actually carried out, we can do that too: see Initiative Management below.

Initiative Management

Someone senior to actually run the initiative and answer to you for it

This is where the plan from your Workflow Opportunity Analysis gets carried out. We run the delivery process, hold the timeline, and keep every budget decision visible to your executive sponsor, and you get a straight answer from us, not a filtered one. It's your team, our team, or a hybrid, always your call. Outside people are an option, never a requirement.

Three ways to run it: we lead it, we assist while your own team executes, or we build the fix ourselves.

Not the same build as the one above: Blueprint Stage 3 implements the company-wide operating system the Blueprint designed, while Initiative Management Build rebuilds specific workflows.

What we bring:

  • End-to-end leadership of the initiative (AI or otherwise)
  • Run the plan from your Workflow Opportunity Analysis, workflow by workflow, in the order it ranked them
  • Project, program, and product management
  • A named owner on every workstream, and a standing weekly meeting where blockers get decided rather than logged
  • Vendor and specialist sourcing and coordination (optional)
  • A written weekly status to your sponsor: what shipped, what slipped, what needs a decision from you, and the named person a risk goes to while the date can still be saved

Build. Most teams have AI now; few get anything real from it. The gap isn't access, it's how the work is built. We rebuild 3 to 5 of the workflows that move your numbers, with AI as a working partner instead of a search box, and measure what changed against the baseline we agree on before the work starts.

  • Rebuild of 3 to 5 workflows (proposals, board packages, reporting, onboarding), or standing up your first company brain
  • Before and after numbers on time, quality, and rework, measured against that agreed baseline
  • Compliance and risk controls built in
  • 30 days of adoption tracking after launch: who is using the new workflow, who has gone back to the old one, and what needs adjusting

AI is optional here. The same leadership runs any initiative that needs a senior owner, from a product launch to a turnaround.

Engagements start at $25,000. What yours costs depends on how many workflows are in scope and whether we lead it or build it, so we scope and price it on the call.

AI Fluency Seminar

Your leadership team needs to make AI decisions without depending on anyone else

Not prompt engineering or tool training. It's the strategic layer: how to read an AI vendor proposal, tell whether a pilot is actually working, and ask the right questions before signing off on the next six-figure initiative. For C-suite, VPs, and senior leaders who need to judge AI without becoming technical.

  • Half- or full-day workshop format
  • Vendor-proposal evaluation and pilot reality-checks
  • Oversight and accountability models for AI initiatives
  • Custom scenarios from your industry and current initiatives

This is the live version, delivered in the room. The self-paced, seat-licensed version is the AI Fluency Course.

Strategic Advisory

An independent strategist in your corner, month after month

When you need an independent voice but not a full engagement: someone to call when an initiative goes sideways, a vendor pitch sounds too good, or leadership wants a second opinion before committing budget. Ongoing, independent counsel from someone who's seen enough AI projects to tell a real opportunity from an expensive experiment.

  • Monthly retainer, on-call for decisions and post-mortems
  • Vendor evaluation and second opinions
  • Board and leadership briefing support
  • AI landscape and risk reviews

Launch a New Business

Stand up the whole operation, built right and built to move, from day one

Starting something means doing twenty jobs at once. We stand up the operation and get it moving fast, so it runs like a much bigger company from day one. Not advice on a slide; we build the real thing with you, and the calls that need real judgment stay with people.

  • Business planning and operating model
  • Core workflows and processes, built around AI from the start
  • A custom website, shipped fast
  • An AI agent stack that runs the back office
  • Hands-on through launch, not just a plan you're left to execute

Note: Timing often depends on outside parties we don't control, like state filings and registrations. We move fast on everything that's ours to move.

The AI agent stack in that list has a name, and it already runs five of our own businesses: meet Lurch.
